Abstract
It was shown by X-ray diffraction that the structural evolution of the Pd-H
system upon its prolonged relaxation. including the changes in the proport
ion of the amounts of coexisting phases, dimensions of coherent domains, an
d magnitudes of microdeformations, has a complex nonmonotonic character. A
model of the phenomenon revealed is suggested.
