Abstract
A new series of oxides without Co elements, Sr10-n/2BinFe20Om (n = 4, 6, 8, 10), was synthesized successfully, They have perovskite-like str uctures, These oxides have high oxygen permeability and lower thermal expansion coefficients. The oxygen permeation rate at 1150 K is 0.90 m i (STD)/cm(2) min for n = 10 and 0.41 mi (STD)/cm(2) min for it = 6. T heir oxygen permeating behaviours are related with the Ei contents and their special structures. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
