Abstract
We suggest to use a two-dimensional distributed feedback for synchronizing the radiation of a multibeam generator representing a system of planar free -electron maser (FEM) units, each FEM being power supplied with a ribbon-sh aped relativistic electron beam. It is demonstrated that various FEM units can be coupled by transverse electromagnetic energy fluxes arising in two-d imensional Bragg structures. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka / Interperiodica".
