Abstract
Cancer metastasis is a complex multi-step process in which tumor cells leav e the primary size and develop a secondary tumor in distant organs. Laminin plays an important tale in this process. The Expression of laminin in foul melanoma cell lines with different metastatic potentials was investigated Dy immunohistochemistry, immunogold electron microscopy and Western blottin g Our results showed that the expression of endogenous laminin and the perc entage of the positive cells ale higher with increased metastatic potential s. It is, thus, suggested that endogenous laminin may contribute to the dif ferent metastatic properties in the melanoma cell line.
