Abstract
In a randomised trial, treatment with prednisolone in two formulations (ora l solution or crushed tablets) was compared in 78 young children with acute asthma. Prednisolone oral solution was better tolerated than crushed table ts (less vomiting, superior taste); clinical resolution was similar.
