Abstract
The possibility of searching for the isoscalar 1(-+) exotic state through t
he J/psi decay process J/psi --> omega + X, X --> V + V at the upgraded BEP
C (Beijing Electron-Positron Collider)/BES (Beijing Spectrometer) is discus
sed for two cases: single-state and multi-state coupling in terms of the ge
neralized moment analysis method. The results show that this possibility ex
ists only for the single state case.
