Abstract
The use of a genetic algorithm-based resonance annihilation technique to ex tract the interior poles of an arbitrarily shaped dielectric object with th e ultimate purpose of target identification is proposed. The technique is d emonstrated for a dielectric sphere with a very good agreement between the exact and extracted pole values.
