Abstract
We report the first direct synthesis of a trans-In copper(II) complex of te tramethylcyclam. This new derivative is hexacoordinate in the solid state a nd square planar in solution. Reduction of this latter leads to a complex v oltammetry pattern which could be explained considering an isomerization pr ocess.
