Abstract
Responsiveness of quality of life (QOL) assessments in chronic schizophreni c patients was investigated by a quasi-experimental pilot study. Satisfacti on ratings were assessed over five time points with an externally imposed d isturbing stimulus at the second time point. Despite a markedly high stabil ity, the disturbance provoked a temporally limited decrease in QOL. (C) 200 1 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
