Abstract
Benzoheterocycles containing group 14 elements such as benzosilacycles, ben zogermacycles and benzostannacycles were prepared from the corresponding zi rconacycles and alkynes in the presence of CuCl or NiBr2(PPh3)(2). Monomers for the synthesis of benzoheterocyclic polymers containing silicon and ger manium were synthesized by this method.
