A mathematical model and algorithms of the basic problem of interior ballis
tics of the electrothermal-chemical (ETC) launcher on slurry/liquid propell
ant (SP) is presented. Simplifying assumptions permit the equations to be r
educed to the numerical integration of a quasilinear equations system in pa
rtial derivatives of a hyperbolic type for functions of two arguments, with
appropriate boundary conditions. Calculated and experimental results are c
ompared.
