Abstract
We consider a circular superconducting ring with a mesoscopic Josephson jun ction driven by periodically external electromagnetic field, and discuss a novel quantum effect, dynamical localization. In this paper we find that th e charge is localized effectively for the cases when the ratio of the field magnitude and the field frequency equal some critical values.
