M. Sunagawa et al., Lack of tyrosine protein kinase regulation of L-type Ca2+ channel current in transfected cells stably expressing alpha(1C-b) subunit, JPN J PHYSL, 51(1), 2001, pp. 115-119
Tyrosine protein kinase (Tyr-PK) regulation of L-type Ca2+ channel (Ca-L) c
urrent was studied in COS-7 cells expressing vascular smooth muscle-type al
pha (1C-b) with no auxiliary subunit by using a whole-cell voltage clamp. T
he averaged peak amplitude of Cat currents was -0.33 +/-0.03 at holding pot
ential of -60mV. Na3VO4 genistein and phosphorylated p60(c-src) peptide had
no effect on the current. Thus the alpha (1C-b) subunif may not be involve
d in Tyr-PK regulation of Ca-L current.
