Abstract
The production of silk was considerably influenced due to varying refrigera tion period of Bombyx mori eggs but variation in prerefrigeration period di d not considerably influence the production of silk. With the Increasing du ration of cold storage of silkworm eggs up to 70 days, the weight of shells reduced in all the conditions of the prerefrigeration period of eggs. The maximum weight of shell was recorded for 50 hours of prerefrigerated eggs o f nonrefrigerated condition.
