Wy. Yin et al., Resonant scattering from a slit coupled cylindrically eccentric impedance cavity: The case of H-polarized plane wave incidence, J ELECTROM, 15(2), 2001, pp. 269-285
The resonant scattering characteristics of a slit coupled cylindrically ecc
entric impedance cavity are examined using direct integration equation tech
nique, and the incident wave is assumed to be a H-polarized plane wave. Suc
h a slit coupled eccentric impedance cavity is assumed to be infinite in le
ngth and of infinitely thin wall surrounded by several impedance screens. B
y using the Galerkin's method combined with translational addition theorem
for cylindrical wave functions, a system of linear equations of infinite or
der for determining the induced current distributions are derived in an ana
lytical form. Therefore, numerical results are presented to show the effect
s of cavity geometrical and impedance parameters on the resonant scattering
characteristics of some typical structures in the far zone.
