A mail survey was conducted of West Virginia forestland owners who had a wr
itten forest stewardship plan on file for a minimum of five years. Along wi
th sociodemographic information for each respondent, the survey requested i
nformation on the types of forest management activities prescribed by the p
lan and any forest management activities implemented since the plan was fil
ed. Respondents were also asked to describe their levels of satisfaction or
dissatisfaction with various aspects of the forest stewardship planning pr
ocess.
