Abstract
Replantation of distal thumb amputations is difficult because of the anatom ic orientation of the thumb and the location and size of vessels, A simplif ied technique is presented, in which interposition vein grafts are anastomo sed to a terminal branch of the digital artery and a subcutaneous vein in t he amputated thumb tip. This technique is convenient, relatively easy and r eliable.
