Abstract
Infrared spectra of Mn(NH3)(2)Zn(CN)(4). 2C(6)H(6) and Mn(ethylenediamine)Z n(CN)(4). 2C(6)H(6) are reported. The spectral data suggest that these comp ounds are similar in structure to Hofmann-T-d-type and the en-T-d-type clat hrates, respectively. There is good evidence for H-bonding from ammonia N-H to benzene as a pi to sigma H-bond.
