Abstract
A newly designed procedure was used for the preparation of partial reduced heteropoly compound catalysts. The catalytic activities of the partial redu ced catalysts for the selective oxidation of propene were tested. IR, Raman , ESR, TPO and TPR were used for the characterization. The (CU1.2V2)-V-0 ca talyst seems to be the most active catalyst due to the most containing of V 4+. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
