Abstract
Inflammatory pseudotumor is a Fare lesion that generally is considered to b e benign in biological behavior, although some may recur or metastasize. Th e authors report on a patient with inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver wh ose preoperative radiologic findings resembled those of focal nodular hyper plasia. The biological investigation showed a polyclonality of the cells an d diploidy of the DNA content and suggested benign characteristics of the l esion. Copyright (C) 2001 by W.B. Saunders Company.
