Abstract
Refracturing can increase production in poorly fractured wells. The full-le ngth paper reports increased production resulting from refracturing two tig ht gas wells that had deeply penetrating initial fractures. Surface tiltmet er measurements showed refracture orientations at oblique angles to the azi muth of the initial fracture.
