Abstract
Uterine diseases are some of the most outstanding gynaecological problems c ausing such a low fertility rate in mares, The paper presents the physiolog ical course of mares puerperal period, It also discuses factors which play an important role in the occurrence, prognosis and the treatment methods of endometritis as well as the course of the illness during the puerperal per iod in mares.
