IP networking solutions - Overview

Today, the evolution of the communications network is accelerated more shar ply than ever before. The various new network technologies evolving day by day and the emergence of new communications services highlight the demand f or the Next Generation IP Network beyond the conventional best-effort IP ne twork. In this paper, we consider the IP network as the next generation com munication infrastructure from the viewpoint of the appropriate QoS control on the network level, real-time packet transportation, the open network ar chitecture and the carrier class high reliability. Moreover, we generalize about the IP networking solutions NEC proposes.
