Abstract
The exponential growth of the Internet use may change the legacy telephone networks, which act as an important part of social infrastructure. This pap er introduces the NEAX61 Sigma (CX) switching system added media gateway fu nctionalities to potential NEAX61 Sigma (CX) switching system users. And " Internet Access Node (CX3100)" which addresses any carriers with its SDH (S ynchronous Digital Hierarchy) based high speed NNI (Network-Node Interface) capabilities, is also presented.
