Abstract
Primary and secondary prevention of stroke has changed considerably during the last ten years Numerous trials have studied the use and efficacy of var ious treatments that were previously used and defended on theoretical or an ecdotal grounds. This article discusses cerebrovascular disease in subsets and reviews treatments based on evidence in each case.
