Abstract
The construction of operators and calculational methods for the determinati on of the N* spectrum are discussed. The masses of the parity partners of t he nucleon and delta are computed from the O(a)-improved data of the UKQCD Collaboration, and a clear splitting observed between the mass of the nucle on and its parity partner.
