Abstract
Bethe Ansatz methods developed by the author and Zotos almost 20 years ago to examine TMMC established that it was not the hoped-for quantum sine-Gord on system. Recent applications of these methods have shown that true quantu m sine-Gordon systems have at last been found copper benzoate and Yb4As3. ( C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
