M. Pospelov et A. Ritz, Neutron electric dipole moment from electric and chromoelectric dipole moments of quarks - art. no. 073015, PHYS REV D, 6307(7), 2001, pp. 3015
Using QCD sum rules, we calculate the electric dipole moment of the neutron
d(n) induced by all CP violating operators up to dimension five. We find t
hat the chromoelectric dipole moments of quarks (d) over tilde (i), includi
ng that of the strange quark, provide significant contributions comparable
in magnitude to those induced by the quark electric dipole moments d(i). Wh
en the theta term is removed via the Peccei-Quinn symmetry, the strange qua
rk contribution is also suppressed and d(n) = (1 +/- 0.5)(0.55e((d) over ti
lde (d) + 0.5 (d) over tilde (u)) + 0.7(d(d)-0.25d(u))}.
