The kinetic analysis of the formation process of alkoxyamines was carried o
ut. A calculation procedure for the quantitative prediction of the yield an
d composition of the synthesis products was developed. The previously known
compound Ri(M)(n)X, where R-i is the benzoyl peroxide radical, M is styren
e, X is 2,2 ' ,6,6 ' -tetramethyl- 1-piperidinyloxy, and n = 1; and a new c
ompound, where R-i is the dicyclohexyl peroxydicarbonate radical, were obta
ined. The products were analyzed by chromatography and cryoscopy. The obtai
ned data are consistent with the results of quantitative prediction. On the
basis of the developed procedure of the kinetic analysis, practical recomm
endations for optimization of the formation process of alkoxyamines were fo
rmulated.
