Abstract
Two new species of Nemognathinae, Zonitis stevewardi and Zonitis minutissim a, are described from southwestern North America. These species do not easi ly fit current generic definitions, and they tentatively are placed in Zoni tis (Neozonitis). Problems associated with current generic concepts in the Nemognathinae are discussed.
