Abstract
2-(Vinyloxy)ethyl isothiocyanate readily takes up organomagnesium compounds to afford on hydrolysis or alkylation of the adducts the respective 2-(vin yloxy)ethylthioamides and 2-(vinyloxy)ethyl thioimidates. Similarly from al lyl isothiocyanate and Grignard reagents allyl derivatives of thioamides an d thioimidates were prepared.
