Abstract
New reagents, 4-chloromethyl-1,3,2-dioxaphospholanes, derivatives of ter- a nd pentavalent phosphorus, were recently introduced into syntheses of phosp holipids. On phosphorylation of 1,2-isopropylideneglycerol with these reage nts compounds interesting for designing glycerophosphatide analogs were obt ained. In the course of the synthesis catalytic acylation of glyceroacetal fragments was used and the currently available methods of tervalent phospho rus chemistry were applied.
