Abstract
The addition of stabilised carbene ligand:CNMesCH(2)CH(2)NMes (Mes=2,4,6-Me 3C6H2) results in a dramatic rate increase in the Cu(OTf)(2)-catalysed conj ugate addition of ZnEt2 to enones (OTf= triflate anion). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
