Abstract
A novel polymorphism was identified in a B*07 allele. B*0722 possesses a un ique nucleotide substitution at nucleotide 481. This polymorphism encodes a n amino acid difference from aspartic acid in B*07021 to asparagine in B*07 22. The functional significance of this polymorphism on peptide binding and /or T-cell recognition is unknown.
