Abstract
Two new, 16-beta -O-methylneoquassin and 16-beta -O-ethylneoquassin, and fo ur known quassinoids have been isolated together with coniferyl aldehyde, c oniferin, cantin-6-one, 4,5-dimethoxycantin-6-one and (+)-neo-olivil from t he wood of Picrasma crenata. Their structures were determined on basis of s pectroscopic and X-ray analysis.
