Abstract
Measurements of the total reaction cross section for proton drip line nucle us N-12 at about 50.4 MeV/u on Si target were performed on RIBLL. Compared with its neighbor N-13, large enhancement of total reaction cross section s igma (r), for N-12 is observed. This might be caused by nuclear deformation and nucleon pair effect, and the experimental inaccuracy should not be neg lected. The sigma (r) of N-12 calculated by using a microscopic Glauber mod el is in agreement with the experimental results.
