Abstract
The purpose of this study was to: (i) offer a model for admissions to colle ges not using a weighted average formula; (ii) test the consistency of the model in the admission process; and (iii) test the model's predictive valid ity. Data from 274 applicants were used in the study. Discriminant analysis was used to test the predictive models. A total of seven predictor variabl es showed a significant impact on the admission's process. Of these seven v ariables, five predicted academic success. Results demonstrate a dynamic mo del that incorporates multiple measures in the selection of pharmacy studen ts.
