A new technique for measuring the quantity of calcium silicate hydrate (C-S
-H) in hydrated, blended cement pastes containing class F fly ash, ground g
ranulated blast furnace slag, or silica fume is based on water adsorption.
The rate of C-S-H formation was determined to be logarithmic in all pastes.
