Abstract
Fluorescent poly(benzyl ether) dendrimers containing an isobutenyl and two naphthoate units at the core have been synthesized; thermal reaction (tande m Claisen rearrangement) of the dendrimers took place quantitatively, resul ting in the complete quenching of the fluorescence.
