Abstract
Exposing oligodeoxynucleotide (ODN)-capped Au nanoparticles to a quartz cry stal under shear oscillation resulted in the formation of a uniform monolay er containing these nanoparticles or multilayers with islands of the ODN-ca pped nanoparticles, which, in turn, improved the extent of DNA hybridizatio n.
