Abstract
Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus presenting as diabetic ketoacidosis or nonke totic hyperglycemia is reviewed in this article. The clinical and laborator y features of diabetic ketoacidosis and nonketotic hyperglycemia are discus sed in detail. A brief overview of some important aspects in the management is also included.
