Abstract
A series of fluorinated 4-alkyl/aryl-2-fluoroaryl-1H-1,5-benzodiazepines (3 a-3o) were prepared by treating appropriate fluorinated 1,3-diketone with o -phenylenediamine. These Compounds (3a-3o) were isolated as their monohydro chloride/monoperchlorate or as a free base and characterized by their analy tical and spectral data. Some of these 4-alkyl/aryl-2-fluoroaryl-1H-1,5-ben zodiazepines have exhibited excellent gastric acid secretion pylorus ligati on, passive cutaneous anaphylaxis and parasitological activities in rats an d monkeys.
