Abstract
By using a hydrothermal dehydration technique, the usefulness of simple pre cipitation reactions can be extended to the low-temperature production of a nhydrous, crystalline oxides. Preparation of the materials Zn2SiO4 and SnSi O3 exemplifies the utility of the method.
