Abstract
The tris(2-mercapto-1-phenylimidazolyl)hydroborato ligand, [Tm-Ph], has bee n used to prepare [Tm-Ph]ZnOH, the first structurally characterized termina l zinc hydroxide complex of a tridentate sulfur donor ligand; as such. [Tm- Ph]ZnOH represents a good structural model for the zinc enzyme 5-aminolevul inate dehydratase(ALAD). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved .
