Multilevel averaging weight method for dynamic load imbalance problems

A multilevel averaging weight method for one-dimensional dynamic load imbal ance problems arising from the parallel Lagrange numerical simulation of mu ltiple matters non-steady fluid dynamics is presented in this paper, which is suitable for both synchronous and heterogeneous parallel computing envir onments. The theoretical analysis for the robustness of this method and the parallel numerical experiments with two parallel machines are also given.
