Abstract
We develop a new analytic theory for the thermodynamics of a fluid of dimer
s consisting of Lennard-Jones or Lennard-Jones-type atoms. The theory uses
a hard-dimer reference system and an extension of the Weeks-Chandler-Anders
en approach from a monatomic to a polyatomic fluid. (C) 2001 American Insti
