Abstract
Exact solutions of n-coupled harmonic oscillators related to the Sp(2n, R) Lie algebra are derived using an algebraic method. It is found that the ene rgy spectrum of the system is determined by one-boson excitation energies b uilt on a vector coherent state of Sp(2n, R) superset of U(n).
