Abstract
It is shown that, contrary to the case of ordinary EXAFS measurements, EXAF S measured in the Raman mode is polarization sensitive for randomly oriente d systems. This fact can be used to predict bond angles and gives an opport unity for a complete structural determination of gaseous or amorphous syste ms.
