The vibration of skew laminated composite plates with simply supported and
clamped edges is studied. The skew plate is mapped into a unit square by li
near transformation. Orthogonal polynomials are used with the Ritz method t
o determine the natural frequencies. The effects of skew angle and laminati
on scheme on natural frequencies are studied. Results are tabulated for dif
ferent lamination schemes and compared to available studies in the literatu
