Abstract
A series of 1,1'-N-substituted ferrocenediyl ligands has been synthesised f rom 1,1'-diaminoferrocene via Schiff base condensation reactions and the co ordination chemistry probed by reaction with Zr and Al reagents; an unusual dimetallic, bis-chelate Al complex has been structurally characterised.
